Hi, I'm Alexa — Floral Designer, Educator, and Mountain Lover.

My journey into floral design began when I was planning my own wedding right here in the Bow Valley. Searching high and low for a designer committed to eco-friendly practices, I realized that if I wanted a sustainable, nature-led floral experience, I’d have to build it myself.

Today, my design philosophy remains simple: let Mother Nature lead. I specialize in organic, garden-style, and highly textural arrangements that honor stems in their natural, untamed movement.

When I’m not in the studio, you’ll find me teaching high school physics, chasing my toddler, out on a bike ride, or soaking in the alpine air. That background in science brings a unique layer of hyper-organization and structural precision to my floral work. Having worked across nearly every venue in the Bow Valley, I understand the complex logistics and mechanics of mountain events inside and out.

My goal is to make your planning experience feel effortless, relaxed, and fully cared for, knowing every single detail has been thoughtfully engineered for a seamless celebration.

100% Foam-Free Mechanics Traditional floral foam is a non-biodegradable, microplastic-polluting toxin. We create every installation, arch, and arrangement using re-usable structural mechanics, floral wire, and natural vessel support—never chemical foam.
Closed-Loop Waste & Composting Every stem from our studio conditioning and post-wedding teardown goes straight to local composting facilities. We can also bundle client flowers into reusable wraps for guests to take home, keeping organic material out of landfills.
Human-Centered & AI-Free Proposals We design every proposal and stem recipe by hand. No AI-generated imagery or auto-generated estimates that promise impossible blooms. You get accurate, custom pricing, real design recipes, and honest mountain logistics tailored specifically to your venue.

Compost & Reuse

Instead of toxic foam, we build structural armatures from reusable chicken wire and secure blooms with pin frogs. This allows for natural stem placement and water access.

Delicate stems receive individual water tubes, ensuring freshness. Our extensive rental catalog offers diverse vessels, eliminating single-use plastic reliance.

Post-event, all organic matter is composted, and vessels are cleaned and reused. We aim for a truly circular system, leaving only memories behind.
