Hi, I'm Alexa — Floral Designer, Educator, and Mountain Lover.
My journey into floral design began when I was planning my own wedding right here in the Bow Valley. Searching high and low for a designer committed to eco-friendly practices, I quickly realized that if I wanted a sustainable, nature-led floral experience, I would have to create it myself.
Today, my design philosophy remains simple: let Mother Nature lead. I specialize in organic, garden-style, and highly textural arrangements that showcase stems in their natural, untamed movement.
When I’m not in the studio or teaching high school physics, you’ll find me chasing my toddler, out on a bike ride, or soaking in the alpine air. That background in science and education brings a unique layer of hyper-organization to my floral work. Having freelanced across almost every venue in the Bow Valley, I understand the complex mechanics and logistics of mountain events inside and out.
My goal is simple: to make your planning experience feel relaxed and effortless, knowing that every single detail has been thoughtfully engineered for a seamless, stunning wedding day.
